Dear Principals and Teachers, A VERY HAPPY TEACHERS DAY to each one of you. When I am penning my good wishes to you on this year’s teachers day, I am pondering over the words of Abraham Maslow which tells us what type of knowledge culture we inherit from our great forefathers. It was the Ashramas and Tapo Vanas that the thinking men of India meditated on the deeper problems of existence. The security of life, the wealth of natural resources, the freedom from worry, the detachment from the cares of existence and the absence of tyrannous practical interest stimulated the higher life of India with the result that we find from beginning of history and impatience of spirit a lore of wisdom and a passion for the saner pursuits of the mind. we belong to such a great teaching tradition. While paying tribute to his MASTER Shri. Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda writes. The only true teacher is he who immediately comes down to the level of the students and transfers his soul to students soul and sees through the student’s eyes and hears through his ears and understands through his mind. Such a teacher can really teach and no other can. The only true teacher is who convert himself, as it were, into a thousand persons at a moments notice. I want to see each one of you great teachers loved by the children and the community not just only for your teaching skills but also for depth of knowledge, commitment to nation building and love for all.

I hope that this initiation to website will assist in enhancing the school culture furthering the school’s growth and evolution, enabling it to interface with the networked world for efficiency and effectiveness. In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love. Mother Teresa. In her quote, Mother Teresa very powerfully captures important wisdom about how to approach life and schooling to make it more fulfilling and significant. Teaching and learning offer us all numerous opportunities to focus on a number of small things that culminate over time to produce students who are prepared to do the great things of life. Keeping this in mind the Kendriya Vidyalaya Azamgarh is launching into the digital revolution that will transform every aspect of student life in the classrooms and outside. It will also contribute to the realization of the school shaping education through digital vision and to move from the traditional way of communicating to the digital system. The closed classroom is opened as the school goes online. The teachers and students can with pride reveal the work done within the four walls. The school has its clear vision and mission objective. In order to accomplish our vision and mission, we take as much effort as possible. We believe that education is an effective medium of social transformation. We get encouragement, looking at bright and successful careers of our thousands of students, who subsequently benefit the society. We feel proud that we are part of such an institute, which is shaping the future citizens. Our school cares for the individual development of each and every student. We accord prime importance to the behavioural discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students. Our teachers strive to teach not only academic programmes but also life skills needed for students’ self-development with highly resourceful faculty. The reputation, the school has acquired and established over these years is due to the dedication and selfless commitment of teachers, supporting staff, and the students. With the support of the staff and families, our students explore, express and excel academically and creatively.
